Sadanandan, a resident of Kudayampadi near Aymanam in Kerala, bought a lottery ticket for Rs 300 on Sunday morning. He had bought this ticket a few hours before the draw of the lottery. In a conversation with the local media, Sadanandan told that when he went to the market on Sunday morning to get the household items, he bought a lottery ticket on the way.

He told that I have been buying lottery tickets for the last several years. Sometimes small prizes came out and sometimes there was disappointment. But it was never about such a huge reward. He says when the lottery seller told that I have won a prize of 12 crores, once I could not believe it.

Ticket was bought for 300 rupees

Sadanandan had bought a ticket for the Christmas bumper lottery for Rs 300. The second prize of the lottery was Rs 3 crore and the third was Rs 60 lakh. He told that he will use the money won in the prize to improve the lives of the children.

According to reports, the lottery department had earlier printed 24 lakh tickets. After all the tickets were sold 9 lakh, then 8.34 lakh tickets were printed. Earlier in the month of September, an auto driver also won a lottery worth Rs 12 crore.
