As many as 17 people have died in Uttarakhand's Uttarkashi after a cloudburst hit Mori tehsil of the district, Disaster Management Secretary (in-charge) SA Murugesan told ANI on Monday, 19 August.Meanwhile, at least 22 people were killed in rain-related incidents in Himachal Pradesh and three in Punjab on Sunday, as heavy rains lashed northern India.The Yamuna river is also flowing above the warning level in Delhi, with a flood alert being sounded by the Delhi government on Sunday and people living in low-lying areas being asked to move to safer places.
