India / 173 more passengers found corona positive who arrived in Amritsar from Rome

Amritsar | There has been a corona explosion in another Chartz aircraft that reached Amritsar from Italy. Out of 280 passengers, 173 passengers have been found corona infected. A few days ago, 125 out of 179 passengers were found infected in another plane that returned from Italy. Amritsar airport director VK Seth informed about the matter.

VK Seth, Director of Shri Guru Ram Das Ji International Airport said that out of 285 passengers on a chartered flight from Rome, 173 have tested positive. He said that the matter was confirmed on Friday. At present, everyone has been quarantined separately. The airport director said that testing is still going on, so the number of infected passengers may increase. It is being told that the charter plane was being operated by Portugal's EuroAtlantic Airways.

According to media reports, Thursday's chartered flight also belonged to EuroAtlantic Airways. Earlier it was reported that the aircraft was operated by Air India but Air India informed through the official Twitter handle that the aircraft was not operated by Air India.
