New Delhi: Even though the speed of new cases of corona in the country remains less than 50 thousand per day, but still the danger is not averted. The second wave of corona is still wreaking havoc in some areas. Maharashtra and Kerala alone have more than half of the country's cases, the Health Ministry said on Friday. The Health Ministry said that 14 districts of Kerala and 15 districts of Maharashtra remain a cause for concern. Health Ministry's Joint Secretary Luv Aggarwal said that the second wave of corona is not completely gone yet. He said that the virus is still present here. In such a situation, we do not need to violate the corona protocol by being careless.

During the press conference on Friday, Agarwal said that there is a decline in new cases across the country. In the last week, there has been a decrease of 8 percent in new cases of corona. He said that 80 percent new cases are being received from 90 districts of the country. Emphasizing on following the Corona protocol, he said that we have to learn from the example of Russia, Bangladesh and Britain, where cases have started increasing once again. Agarwal said that recently the Euro Cup 2021 was organized in Britain and people were enjoying the football matches. But now once again the speed of corona cases has increased the concern.

This instruction has been given by the Health Ministry at a time when many experts say that the third wave may come soon. Meanwhile, concerns are also being expressed about the crowd gathering from all the hill stations of the country to the markets. However, at present, the number of new cases of corona has remained consistently less than 50,000. On Friday, 43,393 new cases of corona were registered in a single day.
