According to the data released by the Medical Department here, 942 new cases of corona virus infection have been reported in the state in the last 24 hours. During this, 170 new patients were detected in the state capital Jaipur, 133 in Alwar, 70 in Jhunjhunu, 60 in Jodhpur and 57 in Bikaner. According to an official of the department, 32 more people died due to this deadly infection during this period. According to the data, during this period 3364 people became infection free in the state. Now 21,550 patients are under treatment in the state.

At the same time, news came out yesterday that the first consignment of injection of black fungus has reached Jaipur amidst increasing cases of black fungus in Rajasthan. These injections were taken from Mumbai to Jaipur by charter plane. A consignment of 2,350 vials of injection has been delivered to the patients. RMSCL MD Alok Ranjan and IAS Tina Dabi had reached to receive the injection consignment. Medical Minister Raghu Sharma was also to reach here, but he did not reach the airport. For the last few days, there was a huge shortage of medicines due to the increase in the cases of black fungus. Patients were asking for medicines.

There was a persistent shortage in Rajasthan of the injectable liposomal amphotericin administered to patients with black fungus ie mucormycosis. It was built on the lives of patients here. In view of this, on the initiative of the government, 2,350 vials of injection have been brought to Jaipur by charter plane late Saturday evening. The government has taken 2,350 from the manufacturer by sending this injection charter plane to Mumbai. Apart from this, 3,000 vials from Cadila Pharma will also reach Jaipur soon.

At the same time, 9,000 wilds will reach Jaipur in the next two days through special cold storage containers. In this way, the state will get 14,350 wil in 3 days, which is a matter of relief for the black fungus patients. It is reported that work orders for 10,000 lipid amphotericin injections have also been issued. Along with this, medicines necessary for black fungus are being sent to hospitals. For the past few days, the condition of the patients was deteriorating due to the continuous increase in the cases of black fungus. There was a severe shortage of medicines. Patients will definitely get some relief by reaching the injection in Jaipur.
