Bollywood | Akshay Kumar's film Rakshabandhan is releasing on Friday. The film is based on the brother-sister relationship and is releasing on the occasion of Rakshabandhan. In the film, Akshay is playing the character of a man who has 4 sisters and he has the responsibility of marrying those sisters. But there are many problems in their marriage. Now Akshay has talked about dowry during an interview before the release of the film. He told that through this film it will be told how dowry is sought in India even today.

He also said that dowry is like extortion. Akshay said, 'We cannot ignore the fact that even today dowry is demanded in India. It has many layers. Some call dowry a gift and some consider it a resolution. It has many names. Somebody says that they want grand marriage. So I call it recovery. A father and a brother spend more than their capacity on marriage.

Akshay has also called Rakshabandhan a sensitive film. He said that not many films are made on this subject. If even 5 or 10 percent of the people watch movies and it gives a message to the people, then I will feel that I have made the biggest film.

Let us inform that Raksha Bandhan is releasing on July 11 and Bhumi Pednekar is also in the lead role in this film. On the other hand, Sadia Khatib, Shaheezmin Kaur, Deepika Khanna and Smriti Shrikant are playing the role of Akshay's sister.

The film got a U certificate

A few days ago the film got a U certificate. Aanand L Rai was very happy with the film getting the U certificate. He had said, for me this is nothing less than a victory. I have made a clean film so that everyone can watch it with the family. This is a moral victory.
