He said that the one-sided opinion in the party is in support of Rahul Gandhi becoming the Congress President. Along with this, Gehlot told that Congressmen will be disappointed if Rahul does not become the president of the party. Asked about the ongoing speculation about the new president of the party, Gehlot said that Rahul Gandhi should become the president. He said, 'If Rahul Gandhi does not become the president, it will bring disappointment to the Congress in the country. Many people will sit at home and we will suffer. He (Rahul Gandhi) should accept this post understanding the sentiments of the common Congressmen of the whole country.

Gehlot said that even within the party, there is an opinion in favor of making Rahul Gandhi the new president. "The unilateral opinion is in favor of him becoming the president, so I think he should accept it," he said. "It is not about Gandhi or non-Gandhi family. It is the work of the organization that no one is becoming the Prime Minister. Along with this, the Chief Minister further said, 'In the last 32 years, no person from this family became Prime Minister, Union Minister or Chief Minister, then why (Prime Minister Narendra) Modi ji is afraid of this family, (Delhi Chief Minister Arvind) to Kejriwal. It seems that in 75 years nothing happened in the country. So why is everyone attacking the Congress? This is because the DNA of the Congress party and the country is the same.

Gehlot said - 2024 election will not be easy for Modi
