Ind vs Aus: Australia's first innings, winning the toss and batting in the first Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, was reduced to a score of 177 runs in 63.5 overs. Ravindra Jadeja took five wickets and Ravichandran Ashwin took three wickets from India. Mohammed Siraj and Mohammed Shami took one wicket each. Marnus Labushen scored the maximum 49 runs for the Kangaroo team. Steve Smith scored 37, Alex Carey scored 36 and Peter Handscomb scored 31 runs.
