Actually, this case is from the city of Beaminster, UK. The BBC reported in one of its reports that an elderly couple had found nine very old notes from inside their house. Although these notes were found a few years ago, they were kept as such and were not sold. They were sold now when yesterday thought that if not sold then they will explode.

According to the report, it was told that all these nine notes were from the years 1916 to 1918. The notes were said to be extremely rare, so they were auctioned. These notes were sold for more than Rs 47 lakh. As soon as the total price was announced after the auction of these notes, the couple was also surprised. People were curious to know how the notes looked like.

At present, the prices of these notes remain a matter of discussion. According to the information, the person who bought these notes during the auction is the President of International Bank Notes Society. He wants to save these notes. An exhibition of these hundred years old notes has been put up.
