Bharat Atta: The central government has made a big announcement to provide relief to the common man from the rising prices of wheat. The government has decided that now flour will be available at low prices at government outlets like Kendriya Bhandars. Flour will be available at the Kendriya Bhandar at the rate of just Rs 29.50 per kg. This flour will be of Bharat Atta brand. Explain that the rising prices of flour were reviewed by Food Secretary Sanjeev Chopra, after which this decision has been taken and instructions have been given to increase the supply of flour. The Food Secretary also said that flour will also be delivered to the people through mobile vans. It will be arranged. According to the Food Secretary, the name and price of flour will have to be written in bold. From February 6, NCCF and NAFED will also sell flour at this rate.

Know that the central government has reserved 3 lakh tonnes of wheat flour for cooperatives, government PSUs, federations like Kendriya Bhandar, NAFED and NCCF at the rate of Rs 23.50 per kg. Bharat Atta can be sold at a maximum price of Rs 29.50 per kg at government outlets.

Flour will be sold through mobile van

Significantly, the Food Secretary met Kendriya Bhandar, NAFED, FCI and NCCF. After this he decided that these institutions would lift up to 3 lakh metric tonnes of wheat from FCI depots. Then this wheat will be converted into flour. After this, flour will be sold to the consumers at Rs 29.50 per kg through different retail shops and mobile vans.

Wheat auction started

Let us tell you that in order to reduce the price of wheat, the central government has started the auction of wheat. 8.88 lakh metric tonnes of wheat was sold on the first day of auction in 22 states. Bidding was also done in Rajasthan on Thursday. Till the second week of March, the sale of wheat through e-auction will continue every Wednesday across the country.
