As soon as this tree was felled with the help of bulldozer, along with the tree the birds present in it also died. These birds are scattered along the road along the trees. This video is becoming very viral on social media.

The matter is being told of Malappuram area of ​​Kerala. However, this video has been shared by IFS officer Praveen Kaswan on social media. He wrote in the post- "Everybody needs a house. How cruel can we be? Location unknown." His post has been retweeted 7000 times in a few hours. People have given their reactions in this 44-second video.

In the video, a JCB is seen felling a tree for the extension of the National Highway in Malappuram area of ​​Kerala. With the fall of the tree, a large flock of birds also fly away from it. Along with this, the nest also breaks and falls on the road. In a few moments many dead birds are seen scattered on the road along with the trees.

tree cut without permission

The Kerala Forest Department has registered a case under the Wildlife Protection Act over the incident. As per reports, the tree was cut down without official approval. Later, the one who operated the JCB driver was arrested.

Terming the incident as brutal, Forest Minister AK Saseendran said it was done without the permission of his department. He said that there are strict guidelines from the Forest Department that trees containing birds and nesting should not be cut till they are gone.

PWD Minister Muhammad Riyas has sought a report from the National Highways Authority of India. Nilambur North Division official said that it will be further probed and strict action will be taken against those involved.
