Maharashtra Political Crisis: The Maha Vikas Aghadi government, which failed to understand the signs of rebellion in the first Rajya Sabha elections in Maharashtra and then the Legislative Council elections, is at stake after a major revolt in Shiv Sena. Nearly half of the MLAs of the 55-member Shiv Sena Legislature Party have openly challenged the leadership of Chief Minister Uddhav Takre by raising the flag of rebellion. On the other hand, after the results in the current assembly, the BJP is in the process of taking political revenge for two successive setbacks.

The foundation of the confrontation between the BJP and Shiv Sena was laid only when, even after winning the elections in the alliance, Shiv Sena decided to leave the BJP and form the government with the opposition parties Congress and NCP. Earlier, BJP formed the government along with NCP, but Sharad Pawar had ruined the plans of BJP by getting his nephew Ajit Pawar to return home. Since then BJP was trying to take political revenge from Shiv Sena.

Aghadi could not understand the signal

In the recent Rajya Sabha elections, the BJP had made it clear that it had created a dent in the Maha Vikas Aghadi by defeating a Shiv Sena candidate. After this the same story was repeated in the Legislative Council elections as well. The veteran leader of Aghadi and Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray himself could not understand the inner movement despite all the mechanisms. At the same time, the BJP also wrote the story of the biggest break in Shiv Sena within and under the leadership of Shiv Sena Legislature Party leader Eknath Shinde, almost half of the MLAs revolted and turned to Gujarat.

BJP keeps trust on Fadnavis

Let us tell you that whatever the circumstances of success or failure in the state, BJP kept faith in former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Fadnavis also kept busy and finally the revolt of Shiv Sena came to the fore. In the last assembly elections, the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance got a clear majority, but despite having far less seats than the BJP, Shiv Sena staked claim on the chief minister's post and on not getting it, broke ties with the BJP and formed the government with Congress and NCP. .

Figures may tilt in favor of BJP

The number of independents and other parties standing with the BJP and it is 113. So far there has been news of rebellion of 26 out of 55 Shiv Sena MLAs. However, this number could be higher due to the arrival of only about 20 MLAs in the meeting called by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. There is a discussion that about 35 MLAs may break from Maha Vikas Aghadi parties including Shiv Sena. In such a situation, once again the BJP government can be formed in the state.
