India / BJP meeting today, election plan will be made with the help of 14 leaders

New Delhi : The Bharatiya Janata Party is going to hold a big meeting on Sunday regarding the Presidential election. The preparations for the upcoming elections will be discussed in detail in this meeting to be chaired by the party's national president Jagat Prakash Nadda. The special thing is that the party has entrusted Nadda and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh to get the consent of all political parties for the post of President.

According to the schedule released by the Election Commission, the voting for the Presidential election will be held on July 18. Due to this, the BJP has formed a coordination committee of 14 members to coordinate the units and allies of the states. The BJP has appointed Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat as the coordinator of the Election Management Committee. At the same time, BJP general secretary Vinod Tawde and CT Ravi are the deputy coordinators of the committee.

The team includes Union Ministers G Kishan Reddy, Ashwini Vaishnav and Sarbananda Sonowal, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, Minister of State for Health Bharti Pawar, National General Secretary Tarun Chugh, National Vice President DK Arun and National Secretary Rituraj Sinha.

Apart from this, BJP's Mahila Morcha chief Vanati Srinivas, Lok Sabha MP Dr Rajdeep Roy and BJP's national spokesperson Sambit Patra are part of this committee. In this meeting to be held on Sunday, the committee members will be informed about their responsibilities.

News agency ANI quoted sources as saying that 14 members can be given the responsibility of different states. These members will reach the states and handle the work there.

Here, the opposition parties have decided to field joint candidates in the presidential election. After voting on 18 July, the counting of votes will take place on 21 July. The term of current President Ram Nath Kovind ends on July 24.
