New Delhi: India cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal has surprised his fans and followers by sharing the pictures of his engagement ceremony. He got engaged to Youtuber and Choreographer Dhanashree Verma on Saturday. He is not the first cricketer to get engaged or hitched this year as KS Bharat also shared the delightful news of his marriage earlier on Friday.

Chahal has been spending his time at home in Haryana since March due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Moreover, he was trending on social media for posting so many TikTok videos and was itching to get back on the field. He also posted a few videos with his family on TikTok even as his teammates including Virat Kohli felt cricket should resume quickly for the leg-spinner.

Yuzvendra Chahal took to Instagram to share the good news with his family on social media and posted pictures with his family and fiance Dhanashree Verma. “We said “Yes” along with our families #rokaceremony,” the adorable caption to the posts read. As far as Dhanashree is concerned, she is a Youtuber, Doctor and Choreographer as well.

Chahal had shared a few videos with her previously as well and also used to post about her work in his Instagram posts and stories. Meanwhile, Dhanashree Verma also posted similar pictures and caption on her official Instagram handle.

Yuzvendra Chahal to feature in IPL 2020 soon

Yuzvendra Chahal will soon be seen playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) this year in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The tournament is set to start on September 19 and the leg-spinner will feature for the Royal Challengers Bangalore under Virat Kohli’s captaincy.

As far as marriages are concerned, apart from KS Bharat getting married and Chahal getting engaged, Hardik Pandya and his wife Natasa Stankovic were blessed with a baby boy recently. The couple had got married during the lockdown earlier this year after getting engaged on the New Year’s Day.

Meanwhile, all the Indian cricketers are expected to play in the IPL before travelling to Australia for the four-match Test series. Chahal, however, is expected to join the team for the limited-overs series.
