Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday to congratulate him as trends showed the BJP-led NDA leading in 349 seats. "Xi noted the great importance he attached to the development of India-China relations and his desire to work with PM Modi to take the [ties] to a new height," an MEA statement read.
