Chandigarh Police has summoned seven people including Bollywood actor Salman Khan, his sister Alvira Khan. A Chandigarh businessman has filed a fraud case against these people including Salman Khan. Police said on Thursday that apart from the actor and his sister, those who have been called for questioning include the CEO and officials of the Being Human Foundation.

Businessman Arun Gupta has said in the complaint that he started the "Being Human Jewelery" store in 2018 by spending Rs 2-3 crore. Gupta said that he was assured that the brand would be promoted with all kinds of support. Gupta has said that neither the promises made regarding promotion were fulfilled nor the goods were supplied for the store.

Gupta claims that he was assured that Salman Khan would promote the brand, but nothing happened. He said that company officials were contacted several times, but they did not fulfill the promises. He has said that the office from where he used to take stock is also closed since February 2020.

The businessman has said in the complaint that he was assured that Salman Khan himself would come for the inauguration of the showroom, but his brother-in-law Ayush Sharma had come. Gupta has demanded registration of FIR in this case.
