On the other hand, Section 144 has been extended till June 30 to control the corona infection in Noida. Recently, the central government had written a letter to five states including Maharashtra expressing concern over the increasing cases of corona.

The increasing cases of corona in the country are once again becoming a cause for concern. On June 4, 3962 new cases of corona were reported in the country and 26 deaths were registered. However, this figure is a bit of a relief as compared to June 3. On Friday, more than 4 thousand new cases of corona were reported. Nevertheless, corona cases are becoming a cause of concern for the government. Especially five states which include Kerala, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana and Tamil Nadu.

Cases crossed one thousand again in Maharashtra

Corona cases are increasing again in Maharashtra. More than a thousand cases have been reported for the third consecutive day. According to the Health Department, 1,357 new cases have been reported on Saturday. The active cases of corona in Maharashtra have increased to 5,888. In view of the speed of corona infection, experts are constantly expressing concern.

Four months record broken in Mumbai

On Saturday, out of the total 1,357 cases in Maharashtra, 889 cases have been registered in Mumbai city alone. One person has also died due to corona in Mumbai. After four months, so many cases of corona have been reported in Mumbai in a single day. At the same time, on May 31, 506 new case patients of corona were found in Mumbai.

Emergency meeting had to be called in Kerala

According to news agency PTI, Kerala recorded over 1,000 Covid-19 cases for the fifth consecutive day on Saturday. On Saturday, 1,544 new cases were registered in the state. After which the number of active patients has increased to 8,000. Following the rising corona cases, the state government had to convene a high-level meeting to review the situation. A minister in the government said, "Analytically monitoring the situation closely. There is no new version. This is the Omicron version as of now. The health departments are doing genomic and spike protein sequencing. Continue to wear masks and get vaccinated." Get it installed."

Section 144 imposed in Noida

In view of the corona infection, the administration in Noida has extended Section 144 till June 30. During this, strict action will be taken by the police administration against those who violate the rules. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Law and Order, Gautam Budh Nagar, Ashutosh Dwivedi, while passing the order, said that in order to prevent Kovid-19 in the city as well as to maintain peace and order in the district, from June 4 to June 30, Section 144 was extended in the district. has gone.

Central government instructions issued

According to the Union Health Ministry, 11 districts of Kerala, 2 districts of Tamil Nadu, 6 districts of Maharashtra, one district of Karnataka and Telangana have seen an increase in corona cases. Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan has asked the states to continue the surveillance and testing of corona cases as well as genome sequencing for the prescribed samples.
