In such a situation, the situation is improving with every passing day.

Not a single death due to corona in Delhi

Now the deaths in Delhi remained zero, while the cases also came to only 66. For the last several days, Delhi's corona meter is running within 100. Due to this, now the number of active patients has been reduced to only 587. The positivity rate in Delhi has also come down to 0.09%, so this aspect is also giving relief. Now the cases are less, and the death has also been zero, but still there is no reduction in testing in the capital. In the last 24 hours, 76308 tests of corona have been done. In those 76308 tests, only 66 positives have come out.

More deaths in Maharashtra

Talking about Maharashtra after Delhi, even here the corona meter is sluggish, but the situation still remains worrisome. In the last 24 hours, 167 people have lost their lives due to corona in the state, while 6,753 new cases have been reported. The number of active patients in the state remains at 94,769, which is much higher than Delhi. At present, 5,52,702 people are in home quarantine in Maharashtra.

Intensifying vaccination campaign

Now the cases of corona are decreasing, apart from this the vaccination campaign is also gaining momentum. In the last 24 hours, 46 lakh people have been vaccinated against Corona. Now a total of 43 crore people in the country have been vaccinated against Corona. In this also 14.38 crore people in 18-44 age group have got the vaccine.
