London. Lockdown restrictions will be lifted in most parts of Britain from next Monday and a different method will be adopted for wearing masks in developed areas of the country. Face Mask Rule in England will no longer be made mandatory in England. Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon told the Scottish Parliament on Tuesday that face masks will remain 'mandatory' for 'continued precautions' when the region moves to the so-called 'zero level' of lockdown restrictions.

Wales had already announced plans to make face masks mandatory for indoor events and Northern Ireland is due to review its position on the matter next month. On Monday, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, addressing a news conference in Downing Street, confirmed that England will move into the final phase of its lockdown roadmap from next Monday, but urged people to exercise caution as the pandemic is not over.

Immediate return to normal life is not possible

Johnson said, “We will stick to our plan to lift the legal restrictions, but we expect and recommend that people wear face masks in crowded places where you come into contact with people you may have come into contact with.” You don't normally meet, such as on public transport."

"We can't just go back to normal life immediately from Monday 19th July as it was before Kovid," he said.

Britain's prime minister said that by next Monday, two-thirds of adults in the country would receive a second dose of the vaccine and every adult would be given the first dose. Johnson said, “We have a growing number of cases – more than 30,000 cases per day. And we can see what's happening across Europe because the delta form of the virus is spreading among us."

There were 34,471 new cases of corona virus infection in Britain on Monday.
