Figures show that in the week ending Sunday, there has been a decline of about 16 percent in the number of daily patients. In the third week of April, the graph of infection started increasing rapidly in the country amid decreasing cases. In India, 2,202 new cases of Kovid-19 have been reported in a day.

From May 2 to May 8, about 23000 new patients of Kovid-19 were found in the country. At the same time, between May 9 and May 15, this number has come down to 19 thousand 405. The infection figures in the country started increasing again from April 17. After this, between April 28 and May 9, more than 3 thousand patients have come to the fore every day in the country. During this, on May 3 only, the number of infected was 2 thousand 568.

According to media reports, the drastic fall in Delhi-NCR has also affected the total number of cases in the country. On the one hand, on 9 May, the number of Kovid patients in Delhi was 1407. At the same time, on May 15, this figure had come down to 673. Apart from this, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh include maximum cities of NCR. There has also been a decrease in cases in these places.

Apart from this, there has been a significant decrease in the death toll in the country. Between May 2 and May 8, where 221 patients died in the country. At the same time, between 9 and 15 May this number had come down to 150.

At the same time, the number of patients under treatment for Kovid-19 in the country has come down to 17,317, which is 0.04 percent of the total cases.
