Bollywood actor Salman Khan is in a lot of discussion about his professional life as well as personal life. Salman Khan also has an old relationship with controversies and in such a situation, now Salman has got relief from the court regarding an old case. The Bombay High Court on Thursday extended till June 13 the stay on summons issued to actor Salman Khan by a trial court in connection with the alleged misbehavior of a journalist in 2019.

Case against Salman and Nawaz

In March this year, a magistrate's court had issued summons to Salman Khan and his bodyguard Nawaz Sheikh and directed them to appear on April 5. This order was issued on the complaint lodged against both of them by journalist Ashok Pandey. Pandey had alleged that Salman Khan and Nawaz Shaikh threatened and attacked him.

Relief to Salman till June 13

Salman Khan had moved the High Court to challenge these summons last month. In the order issued on April 5, the High Court had stayed the summons till May 5. Later, Salman's bodyguard Nawaz also filed a petition challenging the summons. On both the petitions on Thursday, Justice N. J. Inamdar's single bench heard the matter. The court extended till June 13 the stay on the summons against Khan and his bodyguard.
