IPL 2021 Phase-2 has started with the match being played between Chennai and Mumbai. The match started with CSK winning the toss and electing to bat first. Kieron Pollard is captaining the team in place of unfit Rohit Sharma. CSK scored 156 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs.Chasing a target of 157 runs, Mumbai Indians scored 54 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in the first 9 overs. Ishan Kishan and Saurabh Tiwary are unbeaten for the team.
First success for Chennai on DRS
Deepak Chahar gave CSK the first breakthrough by dismissing Quinton de Kock (17). Chennai got this wicket on DRS. Actually, the third over of the innings was brought by Deepak Chahar and the second ball hit de Kock's pad and appealed, but the umpire gave not-out. After this Dhoni took a review and due to the ball being in the line of the stump, de Kock had to see the way out of the field.
