New Delhi: Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has thanked the central government and the High Court for increasing the oxygen quota in Delhi. According to Delhi government estimates, UT required 700 tonnes of oxygen per day. The Center had earlier fixed it at 378 tonnes, but has now increased it to 480 tonnes. At the same time, Kejriwal has requested all the state governments to fight the Corona crisis together.

CM Kejriwal said, "The central government sets the quota of oxygen. There is no oxygen produced in Delhi, all the oxygen comes from outside states. Some of the states where the oxygen companies are in, the state governments have asked those companies in Delhi. The quota stopped sending oxygen. The states said that we will also use Delhi's quota, Delhi trucks will not let go. I want to thank the central government and the Delhi High Court, they have helped us a lot in the last two-three days. Because of which oxygen has started reaching Delhi. "

Kejriwal further said, "Our oxygen quota has increased, a lot of oxygen has to come from Odisha. It will take a few days for the increased quota to reach Delhi, we are trying to bring oxygen from the plane. There is a big disaster, if we divide it in Haryana, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, West Bengal, then India will not survive, at this time we have to help each other. If there is more oxygen in Delhi then we will give other states Will give.

According to government data, till 18 pm, only 18 beds are left for Kovid patients in Delhi hospitals. So far, over 8.31 lakh people have been cured in Delhi. The number of patients undergoing treatment is 85,364.
