COVID-19 Update / Delta variant found in two states of North East, 18 out of 20 cases of Manipur B.1.617.2

New Delhi. After the devastation in North India, Corona Virus has got the delta variant in two states of North East. According to media reports, Manipur and Mizoram have been found for the first time Delta variant cases have been found. NDTV has been written by sources that 18 of the 20 cases taken in Hyderabad have been found to be delta variant. There are four cases of B.1.617.2 i.e. Delta variant in Mizoram. This strain of Kovid is very more infectious. In the Izel district of Mizoron, there are four patients suffering from Corona's Delta Variant. National Institute of Biomedical Genomics were sent to the sample investigation of these people.

In the neighboring nation of both states, the state government has directed to run special vaccination campaign for people suffering from sugar, cancer and serious diseases. In view of the risk of being influenced by the Muicamykosis of people in severe cases of infection, the state has directed to run special vaccination campaign. Who's Chief Scientist Soumya Swaminathan had said on Friday that due to being very infectious, the Delta variant is close to the 'concern' for the global community. According to the news, the case of Delta variant has been registered in more than 70 countries of the world. Soumya Swaminathan said in a press conference in Geneva that due to spreading too fast, Delta variant is to become the most infectious at the global level.

Why is Delta variant dangerous?

Some significant changes have been recorded in the spike protein of the Delta variant of Kovid, due to which the variant becomes more infectious and dangerous. According to a study published in England, this strain is more attacked and because of the alpha variants in a certain time, more people have been ill.

How fast is the delta variant?

According to the study, 60 percent more infectious than the Alpha variant of Delta Variants Corona. Alpha variant was 50 percent more infectious compared to the original strain of Corona virus, Kovid's original strain came out at the end of 2019.

Why is it so dangerous?
