Karan Johar’s period drama Kalank hit theatres on 17 April and the initial reactions are, well, not promising. Several Twitter users have called out the film for being boring & predictable and entirely underserving of its three-hour run time. There are blatant historical inaccuracies in the film, which is supposed to be set in pre-Independence India of the 1940s. Kalank is a love story based in pre-Independence India
