The first match of the five Test series is to be played from 4-8 August, the second match from 12 to 16 August, the third match from 25 to 29 August, the fourth Test from 2 to 6 September and the fifth Test from 10 to 14 September. The BCCI wanted that the remaining matches of the IPL be held in the UAE between 15 September and 15 October. It remains to be seen what the BCCI intends to do for the remaining 31 matches of the IPL.
