New Delhi: Nine people, including three children, were killed in a fire in a textile warehouse in Kiradi area of ​​North-West district. While three others were severely scorched. The fire department of Delhi said that the fire brigade was reported at around 12:30 pm. After this, eight fire engines reached the spot and started extinguishing the fire. The fire was put under control by 3.50 pm. The cause of the fire is being investigated. However, an official said that there was a cylinder explosion on the second floor of the building, causing a partial part of the building to collapse.

Fire sources said on Monday that people were sleeping in the warehouse when the fire broke out. The warehouse was in a narrow lane in the area, which caused the fire department to have trouble in extinguishing the fire. There is a textile warehouse on the first floor of the building. While people live on the second and third floors.

The building owner's wife and two daughters were rescued

Ramchandra Jha (65), Sudaria Devi (58), Uday Chaudhary (33) and his wife Muskan (26) as well as their children Anjali (10), Adarsh ​​(7) and Tulsi (6 months) died in the accident. . Pooja (24) and her daughters Aaradhya (3) and Soumya (10) were saved. The building is named after Pooja's husband Amarnath Jha. They are currently in Haridwar.

43 people were killed in a fire on 8 December
