Fires broke out in the dispute. Four people, including Rajendra Singh, were shot in the shootout. All four people were admitted to the emergency ward of Gopalganj Sadar Hospital for treatment. Where doctors declared Rajendra Singh dead. While three people were seriously injured.

When the doctors sent the three people to perform the x-ray, it was found that the X-ray room was closed. After this, family members and other people started making a ruckus expressing resentment over the closure of the X-ray. After getting the information, the police of Nagar police station reached the emergency ward of Sadar Hospital and tried to calm the angry people. But the family members said that the emergency ward of the Sadar Hospital did not have any treatment nor X-ray that the family members and others were creating a ruckus about it.

Arrived at the spot, Sub-Inspector Nayyaz Ahmed and BN Rai of the police station meticulously calmed the family members and put them on an ambulance and sent them to Gorakhpur for better treatment.

Uchkagaon police station chief Abdul Majeed said that after receiving information about the shootout, the police team has started investigating the case. Raids are being conducted to identify the people who were shot. The atmosphere of chaos was created after the firing in the procession for not giving litti with chicken. A stampede situation had arisen in the village since the incident.
