Gold Price Today / Gold is getting expensive, see how much the rates have increased in a week

Gold-Silver Rate: Today once again the June futures of gold on MCX have gone above Rs 45,000, due to the stagnation in the dollar index, gold and silver prices are getting support. Today gold is seen trading above Rs 45500 per 10 grams. As far as silver is concerned, silver futures on MCX closed down by Rs 584 and slipped to Rs 64500. Although it is showing good recovery today, prices have once again reached above 65000 rupees per 10 grams.

MCX Gold: Today, the June futures of gold on MCX seems to be trading with a strength of Rs 170. Today, gold futures on MCX have started above 45,500 only. On Monday, gold was seen trading in a small range of Rs 250 only.

When compared to Tuesday of last week, gold has become expensive by Rs 1000 in a week.

Gold is cheaper by Rs 10,700 from the highest level

Last year, due to the Corona crisis, people had invested heavily in gold, in August 2020, the price of 10 grams of gold on MCX reached the highest level of Rs 56191. Last year, gold gave a return of 43%. If compared to the highest level, gold has broken down by 25 percent, gold is trading at MCX level of Rs 45500 per 10 gram, which means that it is getting cheaper by about Rs 10700.

MCX Silver: On Monday, silver May futures closed at MCX with a heavy fall, silver fell by Rs 584 yesterday, but today it is seeing a rise of Rs 450 per kg. Silver is once again trading above 65000 rupees.

Silver had closed at Rs 63124 per kg on Tuesday last week, compared to today's price, silver has become expensive by Rs 1876 in a week.

Silver is cheaper by Rs 14980 from its highest level

The highest level for silver is Rs 79,980 per kg. Accordingly, silver is also cheaper by Rs 14980 from its highest level. Today, May futures of silver are trading at Rs 64900 per kg.

Gold and silver in bullion market

According to the India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), the price of gold has started returning to the bullion market too. On Monday, gold sold at Rs 45259 per 10 grams in Sarafa Bazar, while the rate was Rs 44919 on Thursday. Similarly, silver also rose on Monday. Silver sold at Rs 64962 per kg, compared to Rs 63737 in its first session.
