New Delhi: The Government of India has taken a big step to provide financial help to the orphaned children or the victims' families due to the Coronavirus Pandemic in Delhi. Delhi's Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal (L-G Anil Baijal) has issued a notification / notification approving the Kovid-19 (Covid-19) Chief Minister's Financial Assistance Scheme. With the decision of LG, the families of the victims will now be able to get financial assistance quickly and easily.


Scheme implemented only in Delhi

This scheme has come into force only for the state of Delhi as soon as the notification is issued. The objective of the Kovid-19 Financial Assistance Scheme is to provide financial help to the surviving member of the family in the event of the death of the earning member of the family due to the corona epidemic. Not only this, now the government will also take full care of the education and health of such dependent children.

Apart from this, the government is also considering to nominate a member of the family as a civil defense volunteer. Under the scheme - financial assistance of ₹ 50,000 will be given to the family of every deceased.

Eligibility rules issued

Along with this, eligibility rules have also been issued to avail the assistance amount under this scheme in case of death due to corona in the National Capital Region. under these rules

# On the death of the husband, the wife will get ₹ 2500 per month for life.

# On the death of the wife, the husband will get ₹ 2500 per month for life.

# If death occurs due to being a single parent, then the dependent child will get ₹ 2500 per month till the age of 25 years.

# On the death of both husband and wife, in which one has died due to Kovid, in such a case, ₹ 2500 per month will be given to either the mother or the father in the family or if there is a child. (In case of child ₹ 2500 per month will be given till the age of 25 years)

On the death of an unmarried working (working) son or daughter from Kovid, the father or mother will be given ₹ 2500 for life.

# 2500 will be given for life if the dependent brother or sister is physically or mentally handicapped on the death of brother / sister due to Kovid.
