Business / GST overhaul likely, regardless of election result

The controversial Goods and Services Tax (GST) is set for an overhaul after the new government swears in, irrespective of who comes to power. GST on the premise that more of goods currently in the 28 per cent luxury bracket would be brought down to a lower rate and that the GST median rate now at 18 per cent could eventually be reduced. There will be continuation of GST reforms regardless of who forms the government.
