Rohtak / Haryana to observe 2-day state mourning over Sushma Swaraj's demise

Former external affairs minister and senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj passed away on Tuesday, 6 August, at the age of 67.

The veteran BJP leader was brought to Delhi’s All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in a critical condition on Tuesday night, after she suffered a heart attack.

Her body was taken to her Delhi residence later in the night and will be kept for three hours at the BJP headquarters on Wednesday for people to pay tributes. The last rites will take place at the Lodhi Crematorium. 

Haryana Government since Wednesday, 7 August, will observe 2 days of mourning in honour of senior BJP leader and former external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj.
