Rajasthan / Heat on Gehlot's close friends, notice to 3 characters of rebellion in Rajasthan

Rajasthan | The party's disciplinary committee on Tuesday issued show cause notices to Rajasthan ministers Shanti Dhariwal and Mahesh Joshi and MLA Dharmendra Rathod, amid the crisis brewing in the Rajasthan unit of the Congress. According to sources, the Congress committee has asked the three Rajasthan leaders to reply within 10 days as to why action should not be taken against them for serious indiscipline.

Earlier, party observers had recommended disciplinary action against the three leaders close to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot for "gross indiscipline".

Sources said that both the observers Mallikarjun Kharge and Ajay Maken have not directly mentioned Chief Minister Gehlot in their reports submitted to Sonia Gandhi. However, holding a meeting on behalf of his supporters MLAs on the side of the official legislature party meeting has been termed as indiscipline.
