A heartbreaking incident has emerged from Odisha. Where a person put a bottle of liquor in his wife's private parts. The wife's fault was that she refused to do prostitution at the behest of her husband. According to the information, the woman, who hails from Tumudibandh in Kandhamal district, was married 10 years ago to Chandan Acharya of Pattamundai in Kendrapada district. Accused Chandan Acharya is an auto driver by profession. He was staying with his wife and his 5-year-old daughter in a rented house at Padmavati Vihar near Chandrasekharpur police range.
The woman has lodged a complaint with the Chandrasekharpur police station. According to the woman's complaint, only after three years of marriage, her husband forced her to do prostitution work. The wife says that for the last seven years, her husband used to bring prostitution work for her for money. Which he was operating from his home. The victim says that five days ago she protested against prostitution and refused to be a part of the racket. Even before this, the woman had opposed this work many times and denied body trade with strangers. Fueled by this, her husband beat the woman several times. On the day of the incident, there was a fight between the couple about the same thing. The accused returned in the evening in a drunken state. When the wife refuses prostitution, she angrily beats the woman with an iron rod and pours a bottle of liquor in her private parts, after which she faints. After the incident, the victim narrated her objection in front of her mother, who immediately informed the police. As soon as the information about the case was received, a team from Chandrasekharpur police station rescued the victim and her 5-year-old daughter from a locked room. After this, the police registered a case under sections 323, 498A and 506 of the IPC and arrested the accused Acharya.
