New Delhi: For the seventh consecutive day in the country, new cases of corona infection have been registered from one lakh. The total active cases have come down to less than 10 lakhs. According to the latest data of the Ministry of Health, 70,421 new corona cases were reported in the last 24 hours and 3921 infected people have lost their lives. At the same time, 1 lakh 19 thousand 501 people have also been cured of corona. That is, 53,001 active cases were reduced on the last day. Earlier on 30 March 2021, 53,480 cases were registered.

For the 32nd consecutive day, there have been more recoveries than new cases of corona virus in the country. Till June 13, 25 crore 48 lakh corona vaccine doses have been given across the country. On the last day, 14 lakh 99 thousand vaccines were administered. At the same time, about 38 crore corona tests have been done so far. About 14.92 lakh corona sample tests were done on the last day, whose positivity rate is more than 4 percent.

The lowest number of 255 new cases of corona virus were reported in Delhi since April 7 and 23 patients died. On Sunday, the infection rate of Kovid-19 here was 0.35 percent. So far 14,31,139 cases have been reported, out of which 24,823 patients have lost their lives.

10,442 new cases have been reported in Maharashtra, after which the total number of infected has increased to 59,08,992. At the same time, after the death of 483, the number of dead increased to 1,11,104.

The highest number of 14,016 new cases were reported in Tamil Nadu. The number of infected increased to 23,53,721. After the death of 267 patients, the death toll increased to 29,547.

On Sunday, 455 new corona patients were found in Gujarat while six infected people died. After this, the total cases in the state have gone up to 8,20,321 and 9,997 people have lost their lives due to the virus.

In Karnataka, 7,810 new cases of corona infection were reported while 125 patients died. With the arrival of new cases in the state, the total number of infected has increased to 27.65 lakh while the death toll has reached 32,913.

After the confirmation of corona virus infection in 3,984 more people in West Bengal, its total cases increased to 14,61,257, while the death toll has increased to 16,896 after the death of 84 more patients of this epidemic.

In Bihar, the death toll rose to 9492 on Sunday due to the death of eight more people during the last 24 hours. At the same time, the number of infected people increased to 717215.

In Madhya Pradesh, 274 new cases of infection were reported and with this the total number of people found infected with this virus in the state so far reached 7,88,183.

The death rate from corona in the country is 1.27 percent while the recovery rate has exceeded 95 percent. Active cases have come down to less than 4 percent. India ranks third in the world in terms of corona active cases. India also ranks second in terms of the total number of infected.
