IND vs NZ: Team India has defeated New Zealand by 06 wickets in the second match of T20 series. With this, the Indian team has achieved a 1-1 draw in the 3-match series. The third match of the series will be played on February 1 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Batting first after winning the toss at the Bharat Ratna Atal Vihari Vajpayee Stadium in Lucknow on Sunday, New Zealand could only score 99 runs for eight wickets in 20 overs. Captain Mitchell Santner played a struggling inning of 19 not out. Michael Bracewell and Mark Champman were dismissed for 14–14 and openers Finn Allen and Dwayne Conway scored 11–11.

Arshdeep Singh took two wickets from India. Captain Hardik Pandya, Deepak Hooda, Yuzvendra Chahal and Washington Sundar got one wicket each.

India achieved the target of 100 runs by losing 4 wickets in 19.5 overs. Suryakumar Yadav scored the highest unbeaten 26 runs. Ishaan Kishan added 19 runs. Michael Bracewell and Ish Sodhi got one wicket each.

Second: Ishaan Kishan was run out. He got out in the 9th over on his own fault.

New Zealand's smallest score against India

Batting first after winning the toss, the New Zealand team could only manage 99 runs for eight wickets in 20 overs. This is the Kiwi team's lowest score in T20 against India.

Fifth: Mark Chapman was run out on the fourth ball of the 13th over.

Sixth: On the last ball of the 17th over, Arshdeep Singh caught Michael Bracebell's amazing catch. Pandya took this wicket.

Seventh: In the 18th over, Arshdeep got Ish Sodhi caught by Pandya.

Eighth: Arshdeep Singh got Loki Ferguson caught by Sundar in the 18th over itself.

Yuzvendra Chahal got a chance in place of Umran Malik

Captain Hardik Pandya has given spinner Yuzvendra Chahal a chance in place of fast bowler Umran Malik for the second match.
