Bollywood Desk: Kangana Ranaut knows how to respond to tweets attacking her. After Anurag Kashyap, who used to be her good friend once, took a dig at her and sarcastically advised her to go to the Line of Actual Control (LAC) amid India's stand off with China, Kangana responded with a hitting reply. The actress said that she is ready to go to the border and advised the filmmaker to go to the next Olympics and get the country some gold medals.

Kangana wrote in Hindi, "Theek hai main border pe jati hu, aap agle Olympics main chale jana. Desh ko gold medals chahiye. Ha ha ha yeh sab koi B-grade film nahi hai jahaan kalakaar kuch bhi ban jata hai. Aap to metaphors ko literally lene lage. Itne mandbuddhi kabse ho gaye? Jab humari dosti thi tab toh kafi chatur the (Alright, I'll go to the border and you go to the next Olympics. The country needs gold medals. Ha ha ha, this is not a B-grade film where an artiste can become anything. You took metaphors literally. When did you become so dumb? You were quite clever when we were friends.) (sic)."

Anurag Kashyap was quick to reply to Kangana. He wrote, "Teri zindagi hi ab metaphor ho gayi hai behen. Har kahi baat bhi metaphor hai. Har ilzaam metaphor hai. Itna metaphor de mara hai tumne Twitter pe ki janta berozgari generator ko tumhara dialogue writer kahne lagi hai. Jab ki mujhse achcha koi nahi jaanta tum kitna achcha improvise karti ho. (Your life has become a metaphor now. Every word you speak is a metaphor. Every accusation you make is a metaphor. You have given so much of metaphors on Twitter that people now call unemployment generator your dialogue writer. Who knows how good you improvise better than me? (sic)."

Kangana decided to end this Twitter fight, but with a sarcastic comment. She wrote, "Oh!! I see you having an embarrassing meltdown here, hardly making any sense, anyway don’t want to make it worse, I step back, don’t feel bad friend please have hot haldi milk and go to sleep, tomorrow is a new day (sic)."

On Thursday, Anurag reacted to Kangana's kshatriya tweet. He wrote in Hindi, "Bas ek tu hi hai behen, ik lauti Manikarnika. Tu naa chaar-paanch ko leke chadh jaa cheen (China) pe. Dekho kitna andar tak ghus aaye hain. Dikha do unko bhi ki jab tak tu hai is desh ka koi baal bhi baanka nahi kar sakta. Tere ghar se ek din ka safar hai bas LAC ka. Jaa sherni. Jai Hind. (You are the only one - the only Manikarnika. Take four to five people with you and go beat China. Look how they have penetrated into our country. Show them that as long as you are here, no one can touch this country. It is just one day's journey from your house to LAC (Line of Actual Control). Go lioness. Jai Hind (sic)."

Kangana in her original tweet had written in Hindi, "Main ek Kshatrani hoon. Sar kata sakti hoon lekin sar jhuka nahi sakti. Rashtra ke sammaan ke liye humesha aawaz buland karti rahungi. Maan, samman, swabhimaan ke saath jee hoon aur garv se rashtravadi bankar jeeti rahungi. Siddhant ke saath kabhi nahi samjhauta ki hoon, na hi kabhi karungi. Jai Hind. (I am a warrior. I can cut my head, but I cannot bow it down! I will always raise my voice for the honour of the nation. I live with honour, respect, self-respect and will proudly live as a nationalist. I have never compromised with my principles and will never do it! Jai Hind) (sic)."

Anurag Kashyap and Kangana Ranaut have been at loggerheads lately. They spare no chance to engage in a war of words. Earlier, the filmmaker criticised her for comments on nepotism and some fellow actresses. Sharing an old video of Kangana, which was shot after the release of Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, he wrote that though she used to be a close friend of his, he did not recognise this new version of her who allegedly abuses her directors and shortens her co-stars’ roles.
