Coronavirus / Lockdown extended till July 1 in this state, no exemption of any kind will be available

Ranchi: Amidst the rapidly decreasing cases of Kovid-19 in Jharkhand, the state government, as a precaution, extended the lockdown implemented in the name of 'Health Protection Week' for another week without any new relaxation.A Jharkhand government spokesperson said here that in a meeting of the State Disaster Management Authority held here on Wednesday evening under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, it was decided to extend the lockdown for a week without any new relaxation till 6 am on July 1.


The order will remain in force till 6 am on July 1

In a notification issued under the signature of Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh, it was told that the Health Protection Week in the state will now be effective from 6 am on June 24 to 6 am on July 1 and all the restrictions already in force will continue during this period.


The exemption given earlier will continue, no new exemption

During this, as per the relaxation given earlier, all malls, departmental stores along with all shops in all 24 districts will continue to be allowed to open from 6 am to 4 pm. Apart from this, cinema halls, bars, banquet halls, gyms, swimming pools, educational institutions, stadiums and clubs will still remain closed. According to the new guidelines, all shops and establishments except medicine and some essential services shops and establishments in the state will be completely closed from 4 pm on Saturday till 6 am on Monday.


E-pass system will also continue

The old guidelines issued on June 1 regarding e-pass in the state will continue to be applicable, under which the mandatory e-pass within the district has been abolished for all, but e-passes will be mandatory for inter-district and inter-state movement. . In the new guidelines, as in the current week in all the districts, all shops, including shops of jewellery, clothes, cosmetics and shoes, will continue to be allowed to open till 4 pm.


Health Protection Week continues from April 22

In order to break the chain of corona virus infection, the state government had started the Health Protection Week from April 22, which will now continue till July 1. Presiding over the meeting of the Disaster Management Authority on Wednesday, Chief Minister Soren said that the threat of corona virus infection was not averted in the state, so he decided to extend the health protection week by one week.


Maximum 11 people allowed in marriage

During this, the ban on gathering of more than five people will continue. A maximum of 11 persons can attend a marriage and a maximum of 20 persons can attend a funeral. Also, religious places will remain closed for devotees and the procession will continue to be banned. As per the instructions, the ban on bus transport will continue and the examinations conducted by the state will be postponed. Also, barring some exceptions, it will be mandatory for anyone coming to Jharkhand from another state to stay at home for seven days.
