The Ministry said that 29.35 crore doses of vaccines have been provided by the Government of India to the States and Union Territories (UTs) through free and direct state procurement category. Of this the total consumption, including wastage, is 27,20,14,523 doses. The ministry said, “There are 2,14,90,297 doses of Kovid-19 vaccines currently available with the states and union territories.” It said that the states will get 33,80,590 more doses in the next three days.
