Talking about the vaccination in India, the total vaccination coverage of Kovid-19 in India has crossed the figure of 29 crores. The Union Health Ministry gave this information on Tuesday. According to the provisional report at 7 pm, more than 53.4 lakh doses of the vaccine were administered on Tuesday. According to the ministry, over 32,81,562 doses of the vaccine were administered as the first dose and 71,655 as the second dose on Tuesday in the age group of 18-44 years.

Overall, over 6,55,38,687 people in this age group across 37 states and union territories have received their first dose and over 14,24,612 have received their second dose since the start of the third phase of the vaccination campaign. have received.

Along with this, the Union Health Ministry said on Tuesday that more than 2.14 crore doses of Kovid-19 vaccines are still available with the states and union territories. According to the ministry's data available at 7 am, 86.16 lakh doses of anti-coronavirus vaccines were administered in a day in India, which is the highest number of doses administered in a day in the world so far.

A total of 28.87 crore doses have been administered under the National Immunization Program so far. The Ministry said that 29.35 crore doses of vaccines have been provided by the Government of India to the States and Union Territories (UTs) through free and direct state procurement category. Of this the total consumption, including wastage, is 27,20,14,523 doses. The ministry said, “There are 2,14,90,297 doses of Kovid-19 vaccines currently available with the states and union territories.” It said that the states will get 33,80,590 more doses in the next three days.
