New Delhi :  Mosquitoes have harassed the MPs sitting on dharna since Wednesday for nearly 50 hours demanding discussion on the issue of suspension and inflation in Parliament. Suspended Congress MP Manickam Tagore has tweeted a video of a mosquito sitting on the hand of an MP. He wrote, “There is a mosquito in Parliament, but opposition MPs are not afraid. Mansukh Mandaviya please protect the blood of Indians that Adani is sucking up." Tagore has also tagged the health minister in his tweet.

In the video, an MP can be heard saying, "There is this mosquito in Parliament in front of Gandhiji. MPs are sitting on dharna. This is the mosquito story of Parliament." In this video, the phone camera goes to the grass where mosquito coils are seen burning.

MPs suspended over protests inside the Houses are on a 50-hour protest at the Gandhi statue inside the Parliament complex, which began at 11 am yesterday and is scheduled to go on till 1 pm on Friday. The protesting MPs had requested that a washroom be kept open for them throughout the night and that their cars be allowed to enter and leave the premises. He has sent a letter to the Speaker seeking permission to set up a small tent at the protest site. The Speaker has agreed to consider the demands.

Arrangements ranging from curd-rice to carrot pudding for the opposition sitting on the dharna

The opposition parties are making special arrangements for the arrangements for food etc. for the MPs who have been on dharna since Wednesday for nearly 50 hours of protest demanding discussion on the issue of suspension and inflation in Parliament. From curd-rice, idli-sambar, gajar ka halwa to fruits, arrangements have been made for the MPs involved in this demonstration. The roster for the day's arrangement is being shared on the WhatsApp group created for this so that everyone can be informed in time.

Some have breakfast and some are responsible for dinner.

Sources said the parties have decided that they will try to make arrangements for regional cuisine for the MPs. He said that on Wednesday, DMK MP Tiruchi Siva arranged for breakfast of Idli-Sambar for the MPs. At the same time, DMK arranged rice-curd for lunch while Trinamool Congress arranged roti, dal, paneer and chicken tandoori for dinner. DMK's Kanimozhi who is overseeing the arrangement reached the protest venue with gajar ka halwa. At the same time, Trinamool Congress arranged for fruits and sandwiches.

Sources said that on Thursday, the DMK will arrange for breakfast, while the TRS has got the responsibility of lunch and the AAP for dinner. It is on you to put up tents for the MPs at the protest site so that they can escape from the sun. However, the administration has refused permission to set up tents.
