News Helpline . Mumbai | During lockdown everyone was bored to death, actor Vardhan Puri opted to acquire some culinary skills and learn craft from old classics, to beat his boredom!

‘Yeh Saali Aashiqui debutante Vardhan watched classical movies, read books, learned cooking and spends his time with family. Though lockdown was like heartbreaking and shocking but the actor tried to stay positive, fit, and healthy.

Expressing on the same, Vardhan said, “When the lockdown was imposed, it was much unexpected, heartbreaking and shocking. But then I realized that it is done for the safety of our family and ourselves, so that we can stop the spread of the corona-virus pandemic”

“Amid lockdown, I got to learn many new things. I started doing things that I always wanted to do. Like watching classics movies, reading books, spending time with my family, and learning cooking. So amid lockdown, I started doing these things constantly. Regarding my work, there were certain projects which I was going to start and were going to be announced. But due to lockdown, it didn’t happen”

“Things are on halt and have been delayed because the situation has been quite stressful in terms of health and in terms of finances. The studio structure has been changed. Many things have happened, and it’s true that everybody’s work has been affected. But after all, health is wealth, we should not forget this.  In short, I have tried to stay positive, fit, and healthy. And I am happy that I got more time to spend with my family” added Vardhan.

Vardhan’s debut movie ‘Yeh Saali Ashiqui’ - a romantic thriller opposite Shivaleeka Oberoi was directed by Cherag Ruparel and produced by Dr Jayantilal Gada.

The love story was an eye-opener for all couples in today’s era who get into a relationship before knowing their partners.
