New Delhi: Independent MP from Amravati, Maharashtra, Navneet Rana wrote a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla alleging that Shiv Sena MP Arvind Sawant threatened to put him in jail in Parliament's lobby and be seen. Rana has demanded police action.

Rana claimed that after raising the issue of Sachin Waje in Parliament, the Shiv Sena MP told him, "I see how you move in Maharashtra and will put you in jail too."

Arvind Sawant dismissed the allegations

Arvind Sawant has called Navneet Rana's allegations a lie. He said, "She has lied sheer." The first thing is the woman ... Navneet Rana ji calls me brother and grandfather. Shiv Sainiks do not work to threaten a woman. If there will be people around him, then he will tell us what we have threatened? ''

Sawant further said, "The other thing is that the way they talk is not good, you can watch the video. She always takes the name of Uddhav Thackeray. She gives a hate statement. Even today, she was talking. ''

Let me tell you that in the Lok Sabha today, BJP MPs raised the issue of allegations made by a Maharashtra police officer against the state Home Minister and demanded a probe by the central agencies in the matter. Also demanded the resignation of the Chief Minister and Home Minister of Maharashtra.

Meanwhile, Independent MP Navneet Rana questioned why the police officer who was kept suspended for 16 years was reinstated as soon as the Shiv Sena-led MVA government came to power in Maharashtra.
