Chhattisgarh / Naxals target BJP leaders' convoy in Chhattisgarh's Dantewada, 5 killed

A convoy of BJP MP Bhima Mandavi was attacked by Naxals in Chhattisgarh's Dantewada on Friday. The attack comes less than 36 hours less than India goes to polls for the first phase of Lok Sabha election on April 11.  According to initial reports, at least five security personnel, including a PSO, are said to have been killed in the attack. Mandavi, the Dantewada MLA, is said to be missing following the attack.
