UP: These days all eyes are on the by-elections being held in Rampur and Azamgarh Lok Sabha seats of Uttar Pradesh. This is a choice of new experiments. The results from the laboratory of this by-election will decide the roadmap for the Rann of 2024. Actually, this election is not limited to caste arithmetic, so the results can also be shocking.

My Equation Challenge

BSP chief Mayawati has also increased the troubles of SP here. With Shah Alam alias Guddu Jamali being in the field, the challenge is to keep my equation simple in front of the SP. On the other hand, BJP has again used Dinesh Yadav Nirhua to break into the original vote bank of SP. The success of these experiments of BJP, BSP will also be decided by the election results.

BJP got undeclared support of Congress in Rampur

Talking about Rampur, this is probably the first time that the biggest local face of Congress remained with the BJP throughout the election without leaving the party. Now it remains to be seen how effective the open appeal made by former minister Nawab Kazim Ali Khan alias Naved Mian to Muslims to reject Azam and SP works. By not fielding a candidate here, the BSP has put the fight directly between the SP-BJP. This is the reason why Azam Khan, sensing the situation, despite not being healthy, appeared anxious to save the citadel the whole time.

However, the effect of Azam himself not being in the field and the BJP and the Sangh being continuously active among the Pasmanda Muslims can also be seen. Under this strategy, BJP has also given place to Danish Azad, who comes from Pasmanda society, in the Yogi cabinet.
