Rajasthan: Power has been reversed in the non-BJP ruled states of Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh, but in Rajasthan, BJP's 'Operation Lotus' did not succeed. Gehlot came on active mode as soon as the pilot camp got a clue of the rebellion and the government remained in the barricade for 35 days. CM Gehlot had accused BJP and PM Modi of conspiring to topple the government of non-BJP states. It is noteworthy that in the midst of Corona epidemic in July 2020, Sachin Pilot Camp revolted and went to Manesar Gurgaon along with 19 MLAs. In the midst of Shamat's game, Gehlot along with the rest of the MLAs went into the barricade. Then CM Gehlot accused PM Modi and Amit Shah of conspiring to topple his government. There were also allegations of horse-trading of MLAs. During this, cases like phone tapping were also reported.

Gehlot failed every strategy of BJP

In the year 2018, after the revolt of the pilot camp, BJP had brought a proposal to get the trust vote in the assembly, claiming a minority on the Gehlot government. The Gehlot government won the trust vote on 14 June 2020. 126 votes were cast in favor of the government. In this way the Gehlot government was saved from falling. Despite the rebellion of the pilot camp, CM Ashok Gehlot was successful in saving his government.

Non BJP ruled governments have faced political crisis

Sachin Pilot was sacked from the post of Deputy Chief Minister for revolting in Rajasthan. However, after the intervention of Priyanka Gandhi, the displeasure of the pilot camp was overcome and again returned to the Congress. The Uddhav government is in trouble due to the rebellion of 40 Shiv Sena MLAs in Maharashtra. Shiv Sena has accused BJP of conspiring to bring down the government. From the year 2018 till now, non-BJP ruled governments in 4 states including Rajasthan have faced political crisis. In all those four states, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Karnataka have had non-BJP governments. This is the reason why the Congress and other parties have been accusing the BJP and the Modi government of conspiracies to topple the government in non-BJP ruled states.

Government fell in Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka

In December 2018, the Congress government was formed in Madhya Pradesh under the leadership of Kamal Nath. But the Kamal Nath government could run only for about one and a half years. The Kamal Nath government came into trouble due to the rebellion of Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia. The matter reached the Supreme Court. On 20 March 2020, the Supreme Court had fixed the time for floor test at 5 pm. Even before that, Kamal Nath announced his resignation in the press conference. Similarly, in Karnataka, the CM of the Congress and Janata Dal secular coalition government, HD Kumar Swamy became the Chief Minister. In July 2019, 16 coalition MLAs resigned. Independent MLAs also withdrew support to the government. In the assembly, 99 votes were cast in favor of the alliance while 105 votes were against the trust vote. Kumaraswamy had to resign.
