GUWAHATI: The frontline COVID warriors including doctors, nurses and other staff deserve salutation for their dedication and sacrifice in fighting the pandemic. A picture of a COVID-19 warrior in Guwahati which has been making rounds on the internet is winning hearts of the netizens.According to the information, the nurse has been rendering her service at Khanapara COVID Care Centre in Guwahati. In the photograph she is seen in Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) kit. The photograph shows the nurse sitting on the floor for a while as she has to deal with the unbearable heat after wearing the PPE kit.The picture speaks the toil and pain health workers have to endure while serving the COVID-19 patients.As a gratitude to the frontline workers, Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma also retweeted the photograph and wrote, “Proud of my team.”
