PUBG Mobile’s new feature called ‘Gameplay Management’ system is now available in eight countries including India. This feature is applicable only to players under the age of 18.
PUBG Mobile’s latest move comes amid ongoing backlash the game has been facing in India. The battle royale game has already faced bans in some cities in Gujarat. There have been reports of authorities seeking a ban on PUBG Mobile in India. In response to ban demands, PUBG Mobile said it is “working on the introduction of a health gameplay system in India”.

How the feature works
PUBG Mobile Gameplay Management system will be activated for players under the age of 18. It also requires the said group of players to acknowledge a gaming advisory before starting to play PUBG Mobile, NDTV Gadgets reports. PUBG Mobile will then start alerting players via pop-up notifications when they should take a break from playing.
This feature is different from the ‘Health Reminder’ feature PUBG Mobile tested back in March. PUBG Mobile players in India started reporting issues of them being locked out of the game after playing for six hours. Some players were barred from playing even without cross the six-hour limit. PUBG Mobile later clarified that this was actually a glitch and soon fixed it.
