India / Pune reports 1,762 COVID-19 cases on Sunday, total cases at 57,523

Pune: In the last 24 hours, a total of 1762 people were discharged from hospitals after being cured of COVID19 in Pune city today. Also, 1203 new patients were detected while 31 people died today. Today swab samples of 2585 people were collected for COVID tests.

According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 57,525 out of which 38,117 have been cured while 1366 have died. There are still 18,040 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 639 critical patients out of which 392 are on ventilator support.

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 22,934 out of which 15,479 have been cured while 377 have died. 3704 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 308 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC hospitals, while 92 have died and 1015 have been cured.

Across Maharashtra, 9,509 fresh COVID19 cases were reported today while 9926 people got discharged from hospitals today. Also, 260 deaths have been reported in the state today. The total number of positive cases is now 4,41,228 including 2,76,809 discharged and 15,576 deaths. There are 1,48,537 active cases. The recovery rate in Maharashtra is 62.74 % now.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 1,750,723 across the country. Out of this, 1,145,629 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 37,364 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 567,730 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
