New Delhi: Congress MP Rahul Gandhi today questioned the system of making online registration mandatory for getting the vaccine. Rahul Gandhi says that every person going to the center should get the corona vaccine, online registration is not enough.

Rahul Gandhi wrote in his tweet, "Online registration is not enough for a vaccine. Everyone who walks-in to the vaccine center should get the vaccine. Right to life belongs to those who do not have internet." Recently, the Supreme Court had also raised questions on the need to compul

sorily register on the Kovin app before vaccination. The court had said that policy makers should be aware of the ground realities and keep in mind the real situation of 'Digital India'. The court had said, 'You should see what is happening across the country. You should know the ground situation and accordingly policy changes should be made. If we had to do it, we should have done it 15-20 days ago.

Congress is a constant attacker on vaccination

After Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent announcement of providing free vaccines to states for vaccination, Rahul Gandhi questioned why private hospitals should charge money if vaccines are free for all. He tweeted, 'A simple question: if vaccines are free for all, then why should private hospitals charge money.'

PM Modi said on Monday that free vaccine will be made available to the states from June 21 to vaccinate all citizens above the age of 18 years and the supply of vaccines will be increased in a big way in the coming days. He also announced in his address to the nation that 75 per cent of the total vaccines would be procured by the government and 25 per cent would still go to private hospitals, but they would not be able to charge more than Rs 150 per dose.
