However, Rahul has now given a befitting reply to those critics by hitting back to back fifty.

Rahul completed his fifty off 32 balls. He has completed his 2000 runs in T20Is with an average of 40 plus and strike rate of 140 plus. In the first T20 match against Australia, he scored the 18th half-century of his career. In 58 innings of T20I cricket, he has scored 50 plus scores in 20 innings. During his innings, Rahul scored 55 runs in 35 balls with four fours and three sixes.
